According to the Ministerial Order 818 of 19 August 2022, a new PhD field has been accredited at "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, within the School for Doctoral Studies in Biomedical Sciences. We are talking about Pharmacy, which, alongside Medicine, will allow those interested to complete their professional training in medical research.
 
"On the PhD field of Pharmacy, we have three qualified teachers who can ensure the training of PhD students. This field is our nursery for future professors who will want to teach at DJUG and offers the opportunity for high-caliber research on topics of interest in biomedical sciences," said Professor Daniela Tutunaru,PhD, Director of the School for Doctoral Studies in Biomedical Sciences at OIUDS DJUG.
 
There are four doctoral schools at the "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati (The School for Doctoral Studies in Engineering (DSE), The School for Doctoral Studies in Socio-Humanities (DSSH), The School for Doctoral Studies in Fundamental and Engineering Sciences, The School for Doctoral Studies in Biomedical Sciences) with (currently) 18 doctoral fields.
 
In 2021, the institutional accreditation of Doctoral Schools was held at DJUG, a process successfully completed, and this year, OIUDS DJUG started the process of accreditation of three new doctoral fields: marketing, pharmacy, and law, of which the first two have already received the green light for the organization of admissions.
