DJUG has places available for the second admission session, the autumn one, 172 budgeted ones and 1447 tax seats. If we add to these the places for Romanians from abroad (54 with scholarship and 117 without scholarship), and those for foreign students (68), the total number of places available for the undergraduate programmes is 1858.
Two faculties do not have budget places available in autumn anymore. These are the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports and the Faculty of Social, Political and Legal Sciences. Only 58 and 26 fee-paying seats will be offered at these two faculties.
Few budget places (6) still exist at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and, respectively, the Faculty of Automation, Computer Sciences, Electronics and Electronic Engineering, but both are offering fee-paying places: 51 at ACSEEE and 147 at FEBA. The Faculty of Naval Architecture also has 8 budgeted places and 18 fee-paying ones. At the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy there are 14 budgeted places left, only in the Pharmacy study programme. There are 75 places in the fee-paying examination in Medicine, distributed as follows: 15 in Pharmacy, 29 in Midwifery, 31 in Dental Technology.
At the Faculty of History, Philosophy and Theology, 10 places are available for the autumn session and 170 tax places. At the Faculty of Engineering and Agronomy in Braila, there are 12 budgeted places and 109 fee-paying ones, and at the Faculty of Letters there are 13 budgeted places and 197 fee-paying ones. The Faculty of Arts has 9 budget places available (in Performing Arts - Acting and Musical Interpretation - Singing) and 27 fee-paying seats.
The most budget places in the fall session are at the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering (34), Faculty of Engineering (30) and Faculty of Sciences and Environment (30). These are doubled by fee places as follows: FFSE-57, Engineering-319, Science and Environment-53. The Cross-Border Faculty offers 54 scholarship places for Romanians abroad and 40 fee-paying places.
Fall admission calendar:
The second admission session for the remaining vacancies at "Dunarea de Jos” University will take place from 1 to 11 September, with a small delay for the Cross-Border Faculty. Online registration will start on the first day of the month and will last until 11 September. Registration at the centers organized by the university will run from 5-11 September. On 12 and 13 September, the eliminatory tests will take place, on 14 and 15 September the results will be posted, and any appeals will be resolved. Between 15 and 18 September the original baccalaureate diplomas will be submitted, and on 19 September the final lists will be published.
At the Cross-Border Faculty, registrations at the special centers take place from 12 to 15 September. On 15-16 September the tests are held, the results are posted, the appeals are settled, on 17-18 the original baccalaureate diplomas are submitted and on 19 the final lists are posted.
