From 19-23 September 2022, "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati will host the first edition of Erasmus+ International Staff Week, organized by the Erasmus+ Office of the International Relations Department. The main theme of the event aims both to promote and strengthen internationalization and digitization strategies in higher education and to develop inter-university cooperation relations.

Firstly, Erasmus+ International Staff Week contributes to the direct knowledge of "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati by the partner universities with which it collaborates in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA107 Programme, as well as to the strengthening and developing cooperation relations between them.

The beneficiaries of the training course are 50 guests from 20 partner universities, teaching and administrative staff from 16 non-EU countries: Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cuba, Haiti, Honduras, Kosovo, Morocco, Nicaragua, Palestine, Republic of Moldova, Thailand, Tunisia, Ukraine, Vietnam.

Activities include participation in the opening ceremony of the Horizon Europe conference, a tour of the UDJG campus and the city of Galati, a 2-day trip to Brasov with a visit to the Peles National Museum.

During the 5 days, UDJG will become a center of cultural and linguistic diversity, exchange of best practices between participants and organizers, not only in the field of academic exchange projects, but also international relations in general.
