The Faculty of Letters within “Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, through the Dean, Professor Simona ANTOFI Ph.D., is a partner, along with the Institute of Romanian Philology "Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu" of the State University of Moldova, in a project financed by the Francophone University Agency, entitled: La recherche sur l'imaginaire littéraire- artistic. Interdisciplinary perspectives-SERIMAGE 2022.
The project proposes a fruitful collaboration between the representatives of the Institute from the Republic of Moldova with teachers from Galati, Cluj, and Bucharest and the creation, in Chisinau, of a Center for the Study of the Imaginary (following the model of those in Bucharest and Cluj).
The project will be presented on October 21, between 10:00 and 13:00, in the plenary session of the International Scientific Conference "MODERN PHILOLOGY: achievements and perspectives in the European context" organized by the Institute of Romanian Philology "Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu" of the State University of Moldova, on the celebration of 65 years since its foundation. Special guests to give lectures at the opening of the project are Mohamed KETATA, Regional Director of AUF for Central and Eastern Europe, Claudia VIȘAN, Head of the National Office of AUF-Moldova, Mihaela BABUT, Main manager of AUF Projects on Central and Eastern Europe. From DJUG, Professor Simona ANTOFI will talk about the perspectives of collaboration between the institutions located on the two banks of the Prut.
"Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, through the Faculty of Letters, has concluded with the Institute of Romanian Philology "Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu" of the State University of Moldova a scientific collaboration agreement, through which the two institutions proposed: exchanges of researchers and documentation internships, participation in scientific conferences and international scientific programs and projects.
